DALLAS, June 19, 2015 — OnMessage, a messaging infusion company, celebrates seven years of partnership with Susan G. Komen North Texas with the campaign “What will you discover?” at the 25th Race for the Cure in Plano.

Thousands of men and women supported Komen in fighting cancer at this year’s race. OnMessage developed and executed marketing and promotional efforts for the race, which included fundraising events.

“OnMessage always creates such great interactive attractions for our Plano Race for the Cure, but this year they really outdid themselves,” said Mary Frances Hoover, executive director of Susan G. Komen North Texas. “The paint wall was a fun family activity our participants enjoyed, and the message of ‘Hope, Strength, Courage,’ really spoke to the spirit of our event and racers. We are so lucky to have a sponsor as dedicated and imaginative as OnMessage.”

For seven years, OnMessage has delivered marketing, promotional and fundraising support for Komen events in North Texas.

“This was truly an OnMessage team effort,” said Lauren Linton, account lead for Komen North Texas. “We took our goals seriously in partnering with the local fight against breast cancer. More than 90 percent of our team members participated in the event. We achieved our team fundraising goal and are continuing to see success with the interactive campaign.”

In the past several years of partnership with Komen, more than 100 OnMessage associates have dedicated hundreds of hours to promote the cause. OnMessage will continue philanthropic services for the following 2015 events: Celebration of Hope, Ride for the Cure® and Race for the Cure in Denton and Wichita Falls.

Marking the seventh year of partnership, James O’Gara, president and founder of OnMessage, was appointed to the Susan G. Komen North Texas board of directors. O’Gara will advise, assist and aid the efforts to support breast cancer education and outreach programs serving the North Texas area.

“Komen is an incredibly important cause and represents traits that are important to OnMessage, which includes resilience, hope, strength and courage,” O’Gara said. “OnMessage is dedicated to creating a clear, compelling and consistent message alongside Komen to combat breast cancer on every front.”
