Challenge :: PFSweb had been successful at securing business with very large blue chip
companies including Raytheon, IBM, Pfizer and more. The challenge was they were only doing
business with a small segment within each of these companies. They knew they could secure
more business by creating a marketing campaign that would help penetrate other departments
and divisions.
Solution :: OnMessage wrote, designed and deployed a custom 3D direct marketing campaign
for PFSweb’s largest customers. The 3D direct mail piece was designed to get through
gatekeepers and get decision makers to schedule a meeting with PFSweb sales
representatives. Every element of the campaign was completely personalized for each
company.
Results :: The 3D direct mail piece was sent to 1,200 decision makers. When a prospect
logged on to the personalized webpage, an email was immediately sent to PFSweb sales
representatives so they could call the individual to schedule a meeting while the person was
engaged on the website. The personalized direct mail piece and web page combined with the
automated email notification resulted in the highest “warm” and “hot” lead conversion rates the
company has ever experienced.
