Messaging Framework Content

A Messaging Framework is the “bible” for consistent corporate communications. From the receptionists to the boardroom and selling situations, the Messaging Framework ensures your employees and partners stay “on message” every time they are in customer-facing situations. Below are the core elements that make up the OnMessage Messaging Framework™.

Messaging Framework and Copy Decks (50, 100, 250 and 500 word descriptions)
These copy decks are designed to ensure the corporate messaging is used consistently across all communication vehicles. Employees and partners can simply copy and paste the individual copy deck that contains the level of detail they need when describing the company to others.

Frequently Asked Questions & Answers
This section is specifically designed so that all team members are responding consistently to the most commonly asked questions. This section should be reviewed and memorized to ensure everyone is conveying the most compelling and consistent message on behalf of the company.

Visual Representation of Your Solution
This diagram will be used to consistently illustrate the functionality within your solution set. It is the primary image that should be used in sales presentations, on signage and on your website, etc.

Mandatory Messages for Sales & Marketing Vehicles
In many cases, you are not going to have the time or room to articulate your entire corporate message. That being the case, there are mandatory messages you should work into every communication vehicle used to promote the company.

Corporate Presentation
This new corporate sales presentation is consistent with and leverages the key messages included throughout this messaging framework.

Corporate Collateral Copy
This section includes all of the key messages that should appear in the primary corporate brochure.

Sales Positioning and Messaging Script
This section contains an interactive/narrative script that sales people and resellers can use to capture qualification information and ensure the company’s key messages are effectively articulated during conversations with prospects and customers.

Elevator Pitch Quick Reference Cards
The elevator pitch distills the overall corporate and product messaging down to a concise statement that tells the company story in two minutes or less. This should be memorized and used consistently by employees and partners.

Corporate Boiler Plate/Description
This section includes the standard “Boiler Plate” (corporate description) that should be used on all press releases and for corporate descriptions that are sent out to catalogs, directories, trade shows, event sponsorships, etc. When asked for a brief company description, please send the messaging in this section.

Standard Email Signature Guidelines
We develop a consistent positioning statement that becomes a mandatory element in every employee’s email signature. This ensures the company is positioned effectively throughout all standard email correspondence.
